Lina Berglund is a contemporary artist who holds a Master's degree in Fine Art from the Art Academy in Trondheim. She currently resides and creates in Mariestad, delving deep into the human condition through her thought-provoking art.

Berglund's work is primarily focused on exploring the complexities of the human experience and the relationship between inner and outer reality, the invisible and the visible.

This theme is evident in her use of different materials and techniques in her paintings, sculptural objects, and large spatial installations.

Her experimentation with materials such as absorption, transparency, and reflection allows her to examine the spatiality of the surface, and create a sense of depth, movement and dynamism in her artworks.

Berglund is particularly interested in exploring the spatial displacements in her art, using layers upon layers that go inward and/or outward, creating a sense of boundaries that are drawn, blurred, strengthened, and dissolved. Her art aims to provoke deep contemplation and emotional response in the viewer, inviting them to take a journey through their own inner selves.
